As we start to close out the Fall market for real estate sales, the results show the strength of buying and selling activity. It has sustained itself since coming out of lockdown in March/April/May of this year. There is now a wide variation in which types of housing are most in-demand, and certainly, rentals have lost market value and it’s very price competitive. Detached homes have been moving strongly, which has been well supported by the interest rates especially for people who have had job security with no real break in their financial pattern. This is not true for everyone for sure.
